The new generation of environmentally friendly CNC thread tapping center has been launched

　　At the 2008 JIMTOF Machine Tool Exhibition in Japan, Brother Industries Co., Ltd. introduced a new type of CNC thread tapping center TC-S2D that combines high performance and environmental benefits, and the machine received widespread praise upon its launch.

　　It is reported that the superiority of the new model TC-S2D mainly lies in high productivity, excellent cutting performance, high reliability, ease of operation, and environmental protection measures. Compared with the ordinary No. 40 machining center, the batch production efficiency of this model is very significant. Due to the use of a new rotating tool magazine driven by AC servo motors, the tool to tool time is only 0.9 seconds, and tool exchange can be completed without stopping the Z-axis. For example, under the same conditions of using 9 cutting tools, processing 12 workpieces with a hole diameter of 5.1 millimeters, and performing M6 threading, while completing 7 fixed-point milling and 2 boring processes, using a regular CNC machine may take 200 seconds, while TC-S2D only takes 120 seconds, reducing production time by 40% and increasing daily output by 50%.

　　In addition, after CAE analysis, the improved structure and rigidity of the base, column, and skeleton have been optimized, ensuring very stable cutting functions such as boring, drilling, and milling. TC-S2D is suitable for processing clutch boxes, throttle bodies, carburetor housings, compressor cylinders, cam covers, water/oil pumps, intake pipes, main cylinders, as well as general parts such as gear covers, hydraulic transmission joints, camera panels, and diverter valves in the automotive and motorcycle industry, with a wide range of applications.
